In our view, research, evaluation and project development belong together in a bidirectional process. For us, applied research means practical and process-oriented research with realisable operational results. We reflect on our work in projects and the evaluation of projects against the background of current research results and link these with insights from this research. At the same time we incorporate our practical experience in the processing of research projects.

Through our many years of work experience at TU Dortmund University, the membership in the Association for City and Regional Planning (Vereinigung für Stadt-, Regional- und Landesplanung SRL e.V.) and in the German Academy for City and Regional Planning (Deutschen Akademie für Städtebau und Landesplanung e.V.), the diverse contacts with research institutions and regular participation in conferences, we have an extensive network in Germany and northwestern Europe.
